Preparing Your Home for a Spa Session

Select a quiet room with enough space for our massage table (approximately 7ft x 3ft). The bedroom or a spare room works perfectly. Ensure the area is clean and free of clutter. If possible, choose a room away from household traffic and noise.

Temperature Control

Dubai's climate means air conditioning is essential, but the room shouldn't be too cold. Set the AC to a comfortable 22-24°C (72-75°F) about 30 minutes before your appointment. You want to feel comfortably warm, not chilly, when draped in sheets.

Lighting and Ambiance

Dim the lights or use soft lighting options. If your room has blackout curtains, now's the time to use them. Some clients enjoy lighting candles (unscented if we're using aromatherapy oils). Soft background music can enhance relaxation—just keep the volume low.

Minimize Distractions

Turn your phone to silent mode and let family members or housemates know you'll be unavailable. If you have pets, consider keeping them in another room during your session—even the most well-behaved pets can be curious about massage tables!

Personal Preparation

Avoid heavy meals immediately before your massage, but don't arrive to your session hungry. Hydrate well throughout the day. Remove jewelry and contact lenses beforehand. Have comfortable, loose clothing ready to change into after your session.

Post-Massage Considerations

Have water readily available—you'll want to hydrate after your massage. Clear your schedule for at least 30 minutes post-treatment so you don't have to rush. This transition time allows you to fully absorb the benefits of your session.
